Today we went to speech & debate, geometry and art. We are advancing well in geometry, and in art we're going to go to the teacher's house to do things with Photoshop on May 13. So the end-of-the-year things are shaping up really nicely for us.

But today was just hard! Being sick didn't help, either, though. Maybe having a sore nose made it harder. We also have a speech and debate tournament coming up soon. That's going to mean a lot of pressure on us. We are providing host housing to an awesome family (we're returning the favor-they hosted my sister & I for the last debate tournament. We really have a blast with them! We connect a lot.

Right now isn't a good time for lightheartedness, so I must wrap up this dreary account.
